Summary:

Terramé Salon Stylist/Assistant,

is a role that requires trustworthiness, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and a passion for people. We strive to provide high-end, results driven treatments for our clientele and our assistants play a crucial role in the facilitation of all our salon services.

Daily Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Shampoo clients

· Assist stylist with color application, treatments, rinse out and blow dry

· Barbicide made in the morning and dumped in the evening

· All salon and restroom trash to the dumpster

· Keep back bar area stocked and organized

- Foils torn and stocked

- Shampoo bar stocked and cleaned daily

· Keep salon and color area clean and swept

· Maintain sanitation procedures for color bowls/bottles and sink

· Ensure salon stations are cleaned and floors swept daily. Chairs and products wiped down with a damp towel and ready to go the next day.

· Maintain equipment

- Clean dryer filters weekly

- Wipe down inside and outside of all color processors after each client and prepare the area for the next client.

· Maintain salon laundry: wash, fold and re-stock

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily, with a positive, pleasant attitude and must possess the following:

· Education and/or experience- maintain current license in good standing with the Alabama Board of Cosmetology and Barbering.

· Language skills

· Reasoning ability

· Problem solving skills

Physical Demands:

Individuals must be able to lift 20-25 lbs. in order to meet the physical requirements of unpacking boxes, stocking products and laundry. Physical stamina for standing and walking, manual dexterity for fine hand manipulation for cutting, coloring and styling hair.

Requirments:

- Shampoo/Cosmetology License under the Alabama Board of Cosmetology
