Fulltime Staffing CoordinatorSeeking a Fulltime Staffing Coordinator to join our Care Center team.Monday to Friday 8am - 5pmHallMar Village is a joint ministry of Mercy Medical Center and Presbyterian Homes & Services. This senior living community offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartment homes as well as long term care suites. With the Village Center at its heart, the community offers inviting and comfortable living spaces along with outdoor elements including patios, courtyards, gardening spaces, and walking trails.This community offers the following care options: Assisted Living, Memory Care, Care Center/Long Term CareAddress: 8900 C Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52302ResponsibilitiesThe Staffing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining established clinical staff scheduling program. This position is also responsible for clinical payroll responsibilities and clerical duties as assigned.• Implement established staffing patterns and schedules that meet resident care needs and financial goals.• Serve on-call for staffing needs as assigned.• Maintain accurate staffing documentation including attendance tracking as designated by site.• Maintain and submit accurate staffing statistical data to supervisor according to established timelines.• Maintain effective communication systems with all customers• Assist in the implementation of established staffing policies, procedures and practices.• Assist in ensuring that staffing policies and procedures are understood and implemented by staff.• Conduct auditing as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Demonstrated qualities in problem solving, organizational skills, flexibility and ability to work well with and coordinate the work of others.Demonstrated computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and other computer programs.Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.BenefitsFull-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:Health, and dental, including applicable HSA & FSAEmployer Contribution to HSA for eligible Health PlansLife insurance (AD&D)Retirement, with eligibility for an employer matchHoliday pay and extended sickFull and Part-time benefits-eligible employment working between 20-29 hours per week:Vision insuranceVoluntary short-term & long-term disabilityAccident & hospitalization coverageEducation assistance programsAll employees:Accrue PTO (Paid time off)Same-day payEmployee assistance program (EAP)College partnership educational discountsAccess to Learn to Live ResourcesAbout PHSPresbyterian Homes & Services (PHS), based in St. Paul, Minnesota, is a nonprofit, faith-based organization providing a broad array of high-quality housing choices, care and services options for older adults.
