Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment plans that effectively address immediate goals as well as the long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges of your patients.
• Deliver focused speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing functionalities.
• Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to curate unified care strategies.
• Engage in educational initiatives for patients and families, empowering their progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Support occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, guaranteeing seamless care throughout the treatment continuum.
• Ensure precise and timely documentation is maintained in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Continuously update your knowledge and skills through educational pursuits and collaboration with colleagues.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not yet obtained ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
