Maintenance Manager

Role Description The Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in De Forest, WI, responsible for leading the maintenance team and ensuring reliable operation of plant equipment and facilities. This role oversees daily maintenance activities, including planning and prioritizing work orders, coordinating repairs, and managing preventive maintenance schedules for production machinery and building systems. The Maintenance Manager monitors equipment performance, troubleshoots issues, and collaborates with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement. Daily responsibilities also include supervising maintenance staff, managing vendor relationships, maintaining safety and regulatory compliance, and tracking maintenance-related costs and inventory. The role contributes to long-term maintenance strategies, capital planning, and implementation of best practices that support efficiency, safety, and equipment reliability. Qualifications Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, performance management, and scheduling in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair of production machinery, material handling systems, and facility infrastructure. Proficiency in preventive maintenance planning, including developing, executing, and optimizing maintenance schedules and procedures. Demonstrated maintenance management capabilities, such as managing work orders, budgets, contractors, and maintenance documentation. Knowledge of industrial safety standards, OSHA regulations, and best practices for safe maintenance operations. Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and basic proficiency with MS Office or similar tools. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment drawings; strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Relevant technical education or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical/electrical systems, or a related field; prior experience in manufacturing or packaging operations is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr ORBIS Corporation
