Warehouse Manager / Delivery Driver – Rochester, NY
KJ Electric

KJ Electric is seeking a motivated, dependable Warehouse Manager for our Rochester branch. This is a hands-on position responsible for warehouse operations, inventory control, building maintenance, and customer deliveries. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, customer-focused, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the branch.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage all daily warehouse operations.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse.
• Perform accurate inventory management and cycle counts.
• Load and unload incoming shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect incoming products for damage and verify shipment accuracy.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup.
• Make deliveries and pick up materials from customers, vendors, and other KJ Electric locations.
• Safely operate company delivery vehicles, including stake rack trucks.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Process shipments using UPS and FedEx shipping software.
• Maintain the warehouse facility and assist with general building maintenance.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure product quality and workplace safety.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and customer pickups.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required (certification preferred or ability to become certified).
• Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving a stake rack truck or similar commercial vehicle.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
