Woburn, Massachusetts Perm 110000 Sep 2, 2026 $110000.00 - $120000.00 Accounting Manager KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a large, publicly traded organization in the Greater Boston area that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its corporate accounting team. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to lead a team, own key areas of the monthly close, and partner cross-functionally within a complex, global organization. Responsibilities Lead the monthly accounting close, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met Oversee accounting activity to ensure transactions are accurately captured within the subledger and general ledger Review journal entries, adjustments, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting analyses for accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Develop and maintain analyses that provide effective control over and visibility into general ledger activity Partner with operational and finance stakeholders to identify and resolve accounting issues arising from business transactions Provide reporting and financial information to internal stakeholders to support business and operational processes Identify opportunities to improve reconciliations, reporting, analyses, and accounting processes through effective use of systems and technology Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls over financial reporting Manage, develop, and mentor a team of accounting professionals, including Accountants, Senior Accountants, and Accounting Supervisors Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment focused on meeting business objectives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a complex monthly close environment Previous leadership or people management experience strongly preferred CPA and/or MBA preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across different functions and levels of an organization Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills Ability to travel approximately 15% as needed Location: Greater Boston, MA Compensation: $115,000–$125,000 + bonus, equity #J-18808-Ljbffr KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting
