Accounting Manager

DescriptionKforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join an established team on a long-term contract basis. This hybrid role will play a key part in core accounting operations and upcoming system initiatives, including exposure to a major ERP implementation. This is a highly visible opportunity for a hands-on leader who can step in and make an immediate impact.Key Responsibilities:* Support day-to-day general ledger accounting and financial operations* Lead and review account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data* Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes* Assist with cost accounting, allocations, and transactional accounting activities* Provide support across various accounting functions and special projects* Collaborate with internal teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiencyRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting* Strong general ledger accounting experience at a leadership level* Broad exposure to core accounting functions, including close and financial reporting processes* Experience working with ERP/accounting systems (Great Plains strongly preferred)* Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular onsite presence* Willingness to commit to a long-term contract engagementJob TypeContractCompensation55 - $68
