Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team! In this crucial role, you'll oversee all aspects of our financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements while leading a team of talented professionals. Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit/collections, and invoicing.
- Supervise a team of specialists to ensure proper allocation and completion of tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a deep understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structures.
- Prepare and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Lead the close process for quarterly and year-end financials.
- Support the Controller in budget and forecasting activities.
- Manage payroll operations, adhering to company policies and government regulations.
- Analyze delinquent accounts and recommend solutions while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Ensure timely filing of all state and federal tax reports.
- Collaborate with other finance department managers to achieve department goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Respond to inquiries from senior management regarding financial results and special reports.
- Partner with the Controller to facilitate smooth year-end audits.
- Provide training and development opportunities for your team members.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar accounting leadership role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
- Proven ability to supervise and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
