Supervisor Patient Financial Services - Physicians Billing

Job Summary Supervisor, Patient Financial Services - Physician Billing – Responsible for leading high‑performing teams across multiple functional areas within the revenue cycle, driving financial performance, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless coordination and accuracy across all financial operations. The role oversees key departments including Cash Applications, Credit, Cash Posting, and Senior Accounting, and manages the full lifecycle of physician billing, improving cash flow, reducing denials, and strengthening financial controls. Responsibilities Supervise and evaluate business office staff, ensuring delivery of all patient account services. Interpret and communicate departmental policies to patients, insurance representatives, and medical personnel. Lead and influence key departments (Cash Applications, Credit, Cash Posting, Senior Accounting) to achieve seamless coordination, accuracy, and efficiency. Drive financial performance by optimizing workflows and addressing denials to enhance cash flow. Establish and strengthen financial controls and processes related to physician billing. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent education/experience. Minimum five years of progressively more responsible work experience within a healthcare environment.
