We are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of employees, offering the opportunity to be associated with caring teammates, and creating positive contributions in each community we serve.What you must have:High school graduate or equivalent experience; Associates degree in accounting or equivalent insurance or bookkeeping experience preferredAt least 2 years' experience in healthcare data entry preferred, in a home health hospice, or similar operationTwo to three years accounts receivable/billing experience in health or insurance fields in an institutional environment, preferred in home health, hospice or similar operation preferredExperience with EMR software is a plusValid State Driver's LicenseMust have reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insuranceFull-time benefitsCompetitive payMedical, dental & vision insurancePaid time offPaid holidays401k with up to 4% employer matchingTuition reimbursementCompany car for qualifying individualsMileage reimbursementWhat you will do:Accurately enter patient/client billing data, nursing home rates, level of care, per diem, and physician billing or charges, visit charges, fee for service charges, and verify discharge and admission dataCoordinate, review, and analyze documentation and data entry supporting Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements to ensure accurate and timely billingCoordinate, review and analyze accounts receivable tracking tools and maintains accounts receivable files in order to ensure accurate and timely claim submission and to prevent loss revenueEnsure that the appropriate payers have been identified and verified; including securing and reviewing the HIQA and the secondary payer questionnaireProvide back up for the Intake CoordinatorTimely submission of all documentationPerformance of other duties as requiredEnsure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and proceduresIt is this agency's policy to provide equal employment opportunities without regard to age, race, color, religion, military status, gender preference, sex, marital status, national origin or disability.
