About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour and Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in profession License: Valid Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: - Must work Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day OR Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - 12 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) required per contract - Required experience with Trauma Level II Description: Emergency Room Registered Nurse needed for a fast-paced, busy emergency setting. Immediate start preferred for qualified candidates. 36/48 alternating schedule will be considered, including straight 48-hour shifts. Charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. A patient ratio of 4 is expected. Experience with trauma care and critical situations is essential. Versatile skills in managing various emergency conditions are required. Candidates must be proficient in charting systems, with a preference for Cerner. Interdisciplinary support services will be available within the unit. Daily census and diverse patient demographics are common. Ideal candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively and provide exceptional patient care. Candidates must be prepared for a demanding and dynamic work environment.
