Software Development Engineer

Salary: $68,200 - 113,600 per year Requirements:

• We typically expect a bachelors degree in a technical field and 0–2 years of related experience.
• We want hands-on experience developing full-stack applications, ideally in a cloud setting such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• We look for familiarity with modern authentication and single sign-on technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID, and/or SAML.
• We value strong programming ability in Kotlin, Java, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• We prefer experience building frontend and backend applications with modern frameworks and tools.
• We seek experience working with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB, or relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle.
• We look for familiarity with contemporary software testing tools and equipment.
• We prefer experience building cloud-based container components and CI/CD pipelines.
• We value comfort working in a distributed team environment.
• We expect strong time management skills and the ability to contribute effectively in an Agile software development setting.
• We value exposure to GitHub Actions, Helm, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
• Travel requirements are limited to 0–5%.

• We develop cloud-based software systems, including APIs and websites, within a multidisciplinary Agile team.
• We contribute to and help document technical requirements.
• We work directly with UX design, technical support, and technical leads to understand customer needs and provide integration, onboarding, and sustaining support.
• We choose development approaches that can handle uncertain and changing requirements.
• We apply best practices for development, testing, and deployment in an Agile environment.
• We look for ways to improve quality management.
• We support product assurance by diagnosing and resolving bugs.
