Compensation and Schedule for the Audiologist

Audiologist - Full-time, onsite, $38-$40 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Great opportunities for growth!

Required Qualifications of the Audiologist

• 1+ years of recent audiology experience required

• Doctor of Audiology (AuD.) degree from an accredited university program required

• Current and valid Audiology state licensure required

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred

• High school diploma or GED required

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities of the Audiologist

• Demonstrate excellent clinical skills in diagnostic audiology and hearing rehabilitation

• Operate and interpret results from a variety of audiological equipment

• Possess strong counseling and interpersonal communication skills

• Explain complex information clearly and empathetically to patients and families

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems

• Work independently and as part of a team

• Provide patient-centered care

• Operate audiological equipment and manipulate small objects using fine motor dexterity

• Observe patient responses and interpret test results using visual acuity

• Perform accurate audiometric testing using hearing sensitivity

• Interact with patients who may have communication difficulties or be emotionally distressed
