Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching License
• Current IL LBS1 endorsement required
• Experience working in resource and/or co-teaching environments is a plus
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt instructional materials to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers on lesson planning and classroom strategies
• Implement IEPs with fidelity and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Track student progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with families
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and educational growth
