Enterprise Solutions Architect Purpose

• Valkyrie has an immediate need for an Enterprise Solution Architecture Development responsible for incorporating strategic and tactical concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements, translating them into comprehensive technical solutions.

Job Description

• Design and architect end-to-end solutions for Defense and Federal Civilian community proposals, ensuring they meet specifications.
• Support the development of technical proposals, including solution design, approach, development, implementation, and cost estimation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the Business Development and Operations teams throughout the Pursuit, Capture, and Proposal Development processes.
• Conduct assessments of existing products, systems, technologies, and solutions to identify areas for improvement/incorporation and develop innovative solutions.
• Subject Matter Expert on advancements in technology, industry best practices, and emerging trends relevant to Defense and Federal Civilian domains.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders, both internally and externally, to address technical challenges and present the benefits of a proposed solution.
• Collaborate with Division and Business Area Managers and Business Development/Capture to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline with at least 15+ years of proven and relative experience and performance.
• Must have extensive experience required in the Defense and Federal Civilian communities, with a focus on Business Development, Capture, and Proposal Development.
• Must have strong understanding of Request For Proposals (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), Sources Sought, and other DoD acquisition documents.
• Must have demonstrated experience in architecting scalable and reliable solutions to complex technical problems.
• Must have exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Must have exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Must have demonstrated record of winning and/or high scoring Technical Proposal Responses
• Must have strong leadership abilities and a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree Preferred.

Security Requirements:

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• Prefer an Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional travel up to 25%.
• If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. (More information regarding REAL ID can be found: ).

Physical Requirements:

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
