Responsibilities may include:Assisting with personal carePreparing mealsProviding companionship and emotional supportProviding medication remindersAssisting with mobility and transfersPerforming light housekeepingDriving clients to appointments and errandsSupporting daily routines and activitiesOur interactive caregiving approach encourages clients to participate in their daily activities whenever possible, helping promote dignity, confidence, independence, and quality of life.QualificationsPrevious caregiving or healthcare experience is helpful, but not required. Training is available for qualified candidates.We're looking for individuals who are:At least 18 years oldCompassionate, dependable, and responsibleComfortable working independently in a client's homeWilling to learn and growAble to communicate effectivelyEquipped with a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportationExperience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, DSS, or other healthcare professional is a plus.Education & Career AdvancementCaregiving can be a valuable first step toward a career as a CNA, LPN, RN, social worker, or other healthcare professional. Comfort Keepers provides training, continuing education, and opportunities to develop your skills.Eligible direct-care employees may also have access to scholarship support through the Minnesota Department of Health HCBS Employee Scholarship Program.Qualified team members may receive assistance with approved educational expenses while pursuing CNA, LPN, or RN training, supporting career advancement in home and community-based care.To be eligible, employees must work in a direct-care role for an average of at least 10 hours per week and meet program requirements.
