Respiratory Therapist

Overview Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Montgomery is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide compassionate, evidence‑based care to patients with respiratory challenges in a supportive, community‑focused environment. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care involving medical gas, breathing therapy modalities, and medication management. Supervise care and breathing treatments, conduct patient assessments, develop personalized care plans, and address patient concerns. Build meaningful relationships by dedicating time to understand patients’ physical, mental, and emotional needs for successful recovery. Celebrate and document patient milestones and successes. Qualifications Current State License in Respiratory Therapy. CPR certification. ACLS certification preferred. Two years of hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
