Promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners by providing technical solutions and operational expertise. Build and manage long‑term customer relationships/partnerships with target and managed accounts. Ensure customer satisfaction and position renewable service agreements as the foundation of managed account relationships. Perform the sales process to cultivate and manage long‑term relationships, seeking out, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities. Obtain and close sales on a monthly basis; expand the depth and breadth of Johnson Controls offerings within an account. How You Will Do It Sell the Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently and confidently to building owners at the D‑level while reaching optimal profit levels. Focus on improving existing buildings to allow owners to achieve business objectives. Manage ongoing opportunities, particularly focusing on selling services and retrofits. Sell, renew and expand renewable service agreements, including multi‑year agreements, to both new and existing customers. Build partnering relationships with owners or owner representatives responsible for the decision‑making process to drive the sale of Johnson Controls service offerings. Actively listen, probe and identify concerns; understand the customer's business and speak their language. What We Look For Required bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or an equivalent field. Sales experience in the HVAC or Building Automation industry. A minimum of six (6) years of progressive field sales experience. At least one year of successfully selling HVAC or building automation system service or projects. Demonstrated commitment to integrity and quality in business. Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to influence account decision makers at key levels. Salary Range HIRING SALARY RANGE: $64,000 – $92,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
