Responsibilities include providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, ensuring effective use of computer systems, software, and hardware across multiple locations, with potential national and international travel. Working on-call one weekend per month is required. Responsibilities Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person channels. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up and collecting laptops and peripherals. Maintain inventory of IT devices such as laptops, peripherals, and printers. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues. Log and track support tickets using a help desk system. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications. Troubleshoot issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Provide user training on basic systems and software usage. Assist with network connectivity troubleshooting and configuration. Collaborate with network administrators to ensure network stability. Implement and enforce security protocols, including antivirus and anti-malware measures. Educate users on security best practices and conduct security audits. Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures and configurations. Ensure operating systems and software are updated with the latest patches and security updates. Work closely with other IT professionals on complex issues and projects. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role. Strong knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and common software applications. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, COBIT, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
