- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Exadata, Linux ,Solaris
- Virtualization and containerization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Networking, storage, and server technologies
- Infrastructure automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Architecture & Design
- Design and document scalable infrastructure solutions (on-prem, cloud, hybrid).
- Define infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.
- Engineering & Implementation
- Lead the deployment and configuration of servers, storage, networking, and cloud services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Ensure integration with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Operations & Optimization
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Manage capacity planning and cost optimization, especially in cloud environments.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with software engineering, security, and operations teams.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
