Assistant Restaurant Manager

In this role, you will partner closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, champion exceptional customer service, and ensure our signature baked goods are crafted to perfection every single day.

salary: $19 - $23 per hour

work hours: 10 AM - 10 PM

Responsibilities

• Maintain Product Excellence: Ensure all baked goods and desserts meet strict brand standards for freshness, presentation, and flavor consistency.

• Inventory & Supply Management: Track daily ingredient usage, manage stock levels of specialty baking items (fruits, doughs, spices), and place accurate vendor orders.

• Enforce Food Safety: Oversee daily kitchen and front-of-house operations to ensure strict compliance with local health department regulations and corporate sanitation guidelines.

• Manage Waste Control: Monitor daily production schedules and track product waste to optimize food costs and profitability.

• Staff Scheduling & Supervision: Build weekly employee schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak rush hours while effectively managing labor costs.

• Training & Onboarding: Train new team members on food preparation, safe equipment operation, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and customer service protocols.

• Performance Management: Motivate, coach, and provide constructive feedback to shift leaders and team members to maintain high morale and efficient workflows.
  

The essential functions of this role include:
