Schedule: Nights

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Current and active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or to be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire).
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or to be obtained within six (6) months of hire).
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification (or to be obtained within one (1) year of hire).
• Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (or to be obtained within one (1) year of hire).
• Current STABLE certification (or to be obtained within one (1) year of hire).
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (or to be obtained within one (1) year of hire).
• Two (2) years hospital nursing experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on patient assessments to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
• Evaluate the learning needs of patients and/or families and provide appropriate education.
• Engage in effective delegation of patient care tasks to ancillary personnel.
• Cultivate therapeutic relationships with patients and families through caring attitudes and behaviors.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards as noted in the ANA Code of Ethics and relevant state nurse practice acts.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
• Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
• Punctuality and timely completion of duties are required.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.
