Psychiatrist - Psych Adult at New York OMH

Location: Bensonhurst ACT Team, 8620 18th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11214
Duration: Long-term opportunity through December 2030
Full-time outpatient ACT Team assignment
Regular weekday schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No weekends or call listed
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of chronically mentally ill adult patients
- Work as part of an outpatient ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Team
- Drive to patient locations within the Brooklyn service area
Requirements
- Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist
- Minimum 3 years of post-residency clinical psychiatry experience
- Fully trained in evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of chronically mentally ill patients
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a state psychiatric system preferred
