About the Position

Job Title: Neurovascular Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical - Neuro Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 Year with Neuro Patients License: Valid State License Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Proficient neuro skills - NIHSS certification Description: 1st timers welcome. Position will float between units. On-call is required; if cancelled from shift, must remain on call. Weekends are required every other week. No block schedules are required. Patient ratios expected are 1:4. All skills need to be rated as 3s or 4s. Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Common for travelers to float to other units based on their skill sets. Travelers may be required to float to other units and facilities in order to meet the needs. Special requirements include proficiency in isolation precautions and various neuro-related conditions. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or loss of guaranteed hours. Providers will be supplied with required communication devices needed to perform duties at no cost. Candidates are not allowed to reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an agreed-upon interview.
