Portfolio ManagerLocation: Detroit, MIThis position provides support to General Managers and Directors with respect to owner's interest in projects. Works toward maximizing revenue, profit and returns through knowledge of finance, contracts, operations, partnerships, insurance, markets, taxation, and accounting. Assists with the evaluation of potential acquisitions and development opportunities. May acquire in-depth knowledge of a specialized aspect of products or markets used to reduce risk or enhance financial returns. Develops and maintains relationships with customers and stakeholders.Key AccountabilitiesFinancial Responsibility (P&L Management)Site SupportCustomer ManagementMinimum Education & Experience RequirementsMust possess a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, industrial technology, engineering or a relevant science. At least five years of experience in asset management, operations, or project development, or in an equivalent role within a construction, manufacturing, or service environment.Other Qualifications PreferredWorking knowledge of contract terms and conditions and the ability to administer complex contracts. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing to internal and external audiences. Proven ability to develop effective working relationships. Understands the technology utilized by customers and how it relates to the commodities and services provided by DTE. Vantage Knowledge of the regulatory processes under which a facility operates. Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple simultaneous activities. Problem solving and decision-making skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel; familiarity with email, scheduling, commitment tracking, customer relations and time reporting software applications.Physical Demands & Working ConditionsThe physical demands characterized here epitomize those that must be met by an employee to properly perform the integral functions of this job.
