Systems AdministratorAnalyzing, developing, modifying, installing, testing, and maintaining operating systems softwareEvaluating vendor supplied software packages and making recommendations to IT managementManaging Oracle and Microsoft SQL server environmentsAnalyzing system logs, identifying potential issues with production application, and handling war room situationsMonitoring application interfaces and troubleshooting issuesMonitoring servers and working with support to resolve production issuesProviding support to servers and services in the Azure platform, including provisioning, monitoring, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, patching, deployments, and other associated systems administration tasksMonitoring antivirus infrastructure scheduling periodic server security software updates and performing vulnerability remediationManaging F5 load balancer, setting up virtual servers, pools, nodes, and troubleshooting production issuesApplying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changesWorking in a team environmentManaging multiple tasks and small projects as well as service requests and incident resolutionPerforming hardware maintenance where requiredInstalling and preparing technical documentation for systems, applications, processes, and operational proceduresFollowing Information Technology Service Manager (ITSM) processesExecuting disaster recovery procedures; andProviding 24/7 on-call support including weekend on-call supportA. Systems Administrator - Contractor and/or Contractor’s Staff assigned to this Contract shall have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience or relevant certificationsA minimum of three (3) years of IT work experience and a minimum of two (2) years of systems analysis experienceKnowledge of operating systems (MS 2016 or newer and Linux)Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and ITSMKnowledge of relational database with oracle or SQL ServerUnderstanding of N-Tier ArchitectureExperience with large infrastructure systemsUnderstanding of Agile Development MethodologyKnowledge of PowerShellExperience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOpsExperience with Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) Crystal ReportsExperience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (web services); andExperience creating technical documentation
