Compensation: $1,499 - $1,801 per course section. Compensation is determined by discipline, credential level, and course type. Ranges reflect good faith estimates based on current pay practices. This position will work at ECPI University's Virginia Beach, VA campus location.

Overview ECPI University is seeking a full-time Cyber & Network Security Faculty Member to deliver high-quality, hands-on instruction in cybersecurity and networking. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about teaching and preparing students for real-world careers in IT security. Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Cyber and Network Security in a hands-on learning environment
- Deliver instruction in five-week terms with small class sizes
- Provide individualized academic support to students
- Incorporate real-world cybersecurity and networking practices into teaching
- Collaborate with program leadership to enhance curriculum and course delivery
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
OR - Master's degree with 18+ graduate semester hours in a related discipline
- Ph.D. preferred
- 3-5 years of industry experience in cybersecurity or networking (10+ years preferred)
- Experience in applications of AI in Cybersecurity
- Demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence applications in cybersecurity
- Teaching, training, or public speaking experience preferred
- Networking fundamentals
- AI/ML concepts and applications in cybersecurity
- Windows (client/server)
- Linux systems
- Cisco routers and switches
- Cloud computing (AWS, Azure)
- Mobile technologies
- CISSP
- CEH
- AI/ML-related certifications (e.g., Azure AI, AWS ML Specialty)
- CHFI
- CompTIA A+, Network+
- CCNA
- Strong communication and instructional skills
- Ability to engage diverse learners
- Excellent organization and time management
- Commitment to student success
