A law firm seeks a Senior Real Estate Counsel to join their team in New York. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions and the ability to manage complex deals independently and collaboratively.
Duties
- Independently manage acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing transactions.
- Provide high-quality legal services both independently and as part of a team.
- Integrate quickly into the national real estate practice.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Requirements
- 8+ years of commercial real estate experience.
- Admitted or eligible for admission in California or New York.
- Experience with sophisticated real estate transactions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and maintain attention to detail.
Education
JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
Admission to the bar in California or New York.
Skills
- Proficiency in managing transaction lifecycles.
- Ability to review and comment on legal documents.
- Professionalism in client and investor interactions.
- Effective collaboration in team settings.
