Sonographer PRN

Introduction

Work location can be at the main Emergency Department at HCA FL Orange Park Hospital or any of our Free Standing Emergency Departments (Normandy Park, Middleburg, Royal Pines and Park West). 

PRN (as needed), On call, and holiday shifts

PRNs must work minimum of 3 shifts per month, including on call shifts and holiday rotations. Shifts can be at main ED or any of the FSEDs.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Performs procedures utilizing ultrasound techniques in accordance with Medical Imaging policies and protocols.
• Provides care in a manner that promotes positive interactions with patients, family members, physicians, other hospital departments, and staff in accordance with HCA mission and values.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-S) Sonography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician or Certificate
• Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date

No Travel Required

1 year of experience preferred
