Associate Food Scientist

Join to apply for the Associate Food Scientist role at MBC Companies Under direct supervision, define the formulation, nutritional and process parameters needed to develop a new product which meets customer expectations and project objective(s) Work collaboratively in the execution of development from bench to production scale for new products, product improvements andternoon cost savings projects Create new prototypes for product development initiatives and identify, evaluate and approve potential ingredients and manufacturing suppliers Identify opportunities for competitive market advantage through product benchmarking Contribute significantly, directly and continually to attain results through the generation and application of advanced, specialized knowledge Understand product requirements, plantequipmentand processes to enable the creation of detailed product specifications Understand the commercialization process and contribute to the organization, implementation and management of work streams Generate and support pipeline work to drive cost optimization through formulation and processing efficiencies Manage calibration of laboratory equipment Work collaboratively with manager and teammate at other locations to execute individual and team goals Exhibit strong communication skills within technical and non médittechnical community Important Details: The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list of all tasks. You’ll fit right in if you have: Bachelor’s Degree Required: Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry or related field 1- 3years of technical experience in industry; internships or coops considered Ability to communicate effectively and openly while working with a cross স্থধকারী team Must be a self-starter, independent, organized, energetic and resourceful Aptitude for organization and project management Invests time and effort in professional development and supporting customer-centric culture. This job operates in a professional manufacturing and R&D lab environment. Must be able to conduct themselves accordingly. Lab hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) must be followed. phe Physical Demands: Role is a hybrid of computer-based work and lab/product development-based work. May require lifting boxes of up to 40 lbs. The employee must be available during “core” business hours between 8:00-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
