Job Summary/Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a leading healthcare organization to identify a detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to support the Clinical Claims team. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to clinical reviewers by preparing cases for review, gathering and organizing medical documentation, and ensuring accurate case management within multiple systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable navigating healthcare platforms, and possesses a strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Provide administrative support to the Clinical Claims Review team.
• Monitor and manage work queues to ensure cases are processed in a timely manner.
• Prepare clinical cases for review by gathering, organizing, and attaching required medical documentation.
• Retrieve clinical records and supporting documentation from external healthcare websites and electronic systems.
• Upload documents to existing authorizations and create new authorizations when appropriate.
• Verify documentation is complete and accurately associated with the correct patient records.
• Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and HIPAA requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal team members to resolve documentation issues or missing information.
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook and internal systems to manage daily workflow and correspondence.
• Perform additional administrative and departmental support tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a health plan, healthcare administration, medical office, or insurance environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and the ability to navigate multiple web-based applications.
• Experience retrieving, organizing, and managing electronic medical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with electronic health records (EHR), authorization systems, or claims processing is a plus.
