Service Advisor (Second Shift)

Job Overview Geis Peterbilt is seeking a Service Advisor to join our growing Service Department. This full‑time position involves customer interaction, service write‑ups, and the use of dealership systems during the evening shift. Job Details Job Type: Full‑time Location: Kansas City, KS Shift: Evening / 2nd Shift (3:30 PM–Midnight, Monday–Friday) Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 per year Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting and purchasing parts and services. Provide pricing and product information. Answer phone calls promptly. Maintain customer satisfaction at or above company standards. Contribute to departmental production and profitability goals. Write accurate, complete service orders and documentation. Provide detailed repair estimates and communicate with customers. Use dealership technology to keep customers updated. Adhere to warranty policies and procedures. Navigate websites for technical information. Act with ethical integrity and maintain trust. Qualifications 1 year of service writer experience is preferred. 1 year of mechanical knowledge is preferred. Capability to perform heavy lifting. Positive, team‑oriented, customer‑focused attitude. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment. Strong communication and computer skills. Clearance of a pre‑employment drug screen.
