Senior Technical Support Engineer / PSP Integrations Specialist

Overview Fyntek is a payment orchestration and gateway platform supporting multiple payment providers, digital wallets, ACH, card processing, and alternative payment methods for high-growth merchants. We are looking for a highly technical and proactive Senior Technical Support Engineer to serve as a key escalation point between merchants, PSPs, and internal engineering teams. This is not a traditional customer support role. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently troubleshooting complex payment issues, analyzing API and webhook behavior, working directly with PSPs, and helping drive technical resolutions in production environments. Key Responsibilities Serve as Level 2 technical escalation support for payment and gateway-related issues Troubleshoot Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, card processing, hosted payment pages, and webhook flows Analyze API requests/responses, transaction logs, PSP responses, and payment routing behavior Investigate declined, pending, timeout, and “awaiting webhook” transaction states Work directly with PSPs including Finix, Worldpay, Coinflow, Breeze, AptPay, and others Support merchant onboarding, production launches, and live issue resolution Coordinate closely with engineering teams to identify root causes and platform improvements Monitor payment operations and identify trends affecting acceptance rates or transaction success Assist merchants with technical integrations, troubleshooting, and production readiness Create technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures Escalate provider-side issues with detailed technical evidence and reproducible findings Help improve monitoring, alerting, operational workflows, and support processes Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in technical support, payment operations, fintech, or solutions engineering Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON payloads, webhooks, and flows Experience troubleshooting payment systems and transaction lifecycle issues Familiarity with Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, anti-fraud systems, and payment gateways Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex technical issues Experience working directly with merchants, PSPs, and engineering teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments Experience using tools such as Grafana, Postman, Hubspot/Asana, Slack, and monitoring dashboards Nice to Have Experience with Finix, Worldpay, Coinflow, Breeze, AptPay, or similar PSPs Knowledge of payment market, hosted checkout flows Familiarity with PCI compliance and tokenization concepts SQL or scripting experience for investigation/debugging purposes What We’re Looking For Someone proactive who takes ownership and drives issues to resolution Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills Ability to operate independently and make technical decisions confidently Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Someone capable of acting as the bridge between merchants, PSPs, and engineering teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr Fyntek Solutions LTD.
