Work Location: San Diego Convention Center – San Diego, CA Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour (DOE) Event Dates: July 21–27, 2026 Employment Type: Temporary / Event-Based Shifts: Days, Swing, Overnight, and Weekend shifts available Join Our Special Event Security Team Treston Security Services is hiring professional and dependable Special Event Security Officers to support a major convention in San Diego, California . This assignment is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced environments, interacting with guests, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere during one of Southern California\'s largest convention events. Responsibilities Maintain a professional security presence throughout the venue Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas Perform access control and credential verification Assist guests, exhibitors, vendors, and event staff with directions and general information Monitor crowd activity and report safety or security concerns Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports Respond professionally to incidents and requests for assistance Minimum Qualifications Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required) Professional appearance and strong communication skills Reliable transportation Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment Preferred Experience Special Event Security Convention Security Customer Service Access Control Crowd Management Hospitality or Venue Security About Treston Security Services Treston Security Services is a Veteran-owned and operated security company providing professional security solutions throughout California.
