What You'll Do As a Special Event Security Officer, you'll help ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and event operations by: Maintaining a professional and visible security presence throughout the venue Monitoring entrances, exits, credential checkpoints, and restricted areas Verifying credentials and controlling access to authorized locations Providing exceptional customer service and assisting attendees with directions and general information Monitoring crowd activity and identifying potential safety or security concerns Enforcing venue rules and event policies in a professional manner Responding appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance Completing Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports accurately and thoroughly Communicating effectively with supervisors, event staff, and fellow officers Minimum Qualifications Valid California Guard Card (Required) Must be at least 18 years of age Authorized to work in the United States Reliable transportation Professional appearance and demeanor Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment Dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts during the event Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is preferred but not required: Special Event Security Convention Security Access Control Crowd Management Customer Service Hospitality or Guest Services Entertainment or Venue Security What We're Looking For Our ideal candidates are: Professional and dependable Customer service-oriented Calm and confident in high-traffic environments Team players with a positive attitude Comfortable working around large crowds Committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere Strong communicators who represent Treston Security Services with professionalism Why Join Treston?
