About This Role The Surgical Intensive Care Registered Nurse 2 at Strong Memorial Hospital provides competent direct patient care for critically ill surgical patients. This role is ideal for nurses with acute care experience who thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Highlights Pay: $38.76 - $50.39 Location: Rochester, NY Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital Schedule: Full-time, Rotating shifts Responsibilities Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contribute to unit activities and support the enhancement of the care delivery system. Support peers in the delivery of patient care services. Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member. Care for critically ill surgical patients requiring specialized nursing and medical care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic environment. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and assessment skills. Engage in innovative quality patient care, education, and research.
