Staff Accountant

Vaco is seeking a Staff Accountant in Scottsdale, Arizona! What stands out about this role? Direct exposure to the Controller and CFO in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Hands-on experience across full cycle accounting Opportunity to grow responsibilities as the business continues to scale Responsibilities include: Support daily accounting operations, including billing and invoice processing Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations Process advisor billing information and support accurate fee payments Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation Assist with payroll‑related accounting tasks Support special projects and process improvement initiatives Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required Accounting internship, relevant work experience, or accounting coursework preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Intermediate Excel skills preferred QuickBooks experience is a plus Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Scottsdale, Arizona Compensation $60-63k Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
