BayArea - WH and OB ServAbout Facility: Marinette, WI Level III Trauma Center Beds: 64 Unit Information: Beds: 8 LDRP/Antepartum beds Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: L&D patients > 35 weeks, GYN surgeries, antepartum, postpartum Patient Ratios: Laboring: 1:1 Couplets/Antepartum/Surgical: 1:3 Required License, National Certification, Certs: BLS, NRP, FHM Skills required: Experience with above patient types, NSTs, triage patient, postpartum and newborn assessments/care, nursery care Support within the Department: Charge RN – takes patients as needed RN draws blood FHM at bedside and nurse's station, no tele Resource RN RRT OB MD has a 30-minute call back time Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC IV Pump: Alaris Med dispensing: Pyxis Unit specific equipment: Floating: If yes, where? Could float to inpatient units to act as a sitter or in a CNA role Orientation (facility and unit): NEO At least one shift to learn flow Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other On call? If so, what is that schedule?
