What You Will Do :

• Lead and support a patient access team at two Bessemer, AL client locations
• Oversee day-to-day workflow, prioritize work assignments, and help ensure service delivery expectations are met.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and ongoing support to team members to promote performance, engagement, and accountability.
• Monitor team activities, identify issues or bottlenecks, and help drive timely resolution.
• Partner with supervisors and other stakeholders to support operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with process improvement efforts and contribute to efficient, high-quality service delivery.

What You Will Need :

• High School Diploma or GED or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of the education
• 8 years relevant customer-facing experience (preferably in healthcare)
• 5+ years of working experience in all areas of Patient Access (Scheduling and Pre-Registration, Insurance Verification, Prior Authorization, Financial Counseling & Estimating, and Point-of-Service Collections)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and support multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues effectively and professionally.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional partners.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results

What Would Be Nice To Have :

• Experience leading, coordinating, or supporting a team in a professional services or operations environment.
• Experience with process improvement.
• Previous leadership experience in a managed services or healthcare-related environment.
• Familiarity with operational reporting, performance tracking, or workflow coordination.
• Experience supporting remote or distributed teams.
