Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients from pediatric to geriatric demographics using standardized tests and observational methods.
• Craft individual treatment plans that target both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver focused speech therapy sessions designed to improve communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Partner with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to establish cohesive treatment strategies.
• Provide valuable education for patients and families to encourage progress in between therapy sessions.
• Assist with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain precise and punctual documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Keep updated on advancements in the industry through continued education and collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications Required

• State licensure as a Speech Therapist .
• Preference given to candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• BLS certification required within the first month of employment.
