Senior Quality Engineer

Job Title: Sr. QA Automation EngineerWork Location:Irving, TXJob Summary:Senior SDET with 3 to 5 years of experience in Selenium automation using Java to deliver high-quality software through robust test automation.Job Description:Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.Ensure thorough test coverage for functional regression and integration testing.Integrate automated tests into CICD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.Analyze test results to identify defects and contribute to product quality improvements.Stay updated with the latest testing tools frameworks and best practices in automation.Contribute to the design and enhancement of test frameworks and automation architectures.Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the SDET team.Roles and Responsibilities:Design develop and execute automation test plans and scripts using Selenium with Java.Drive end-to-end test automation efforts covering unit integration regression and UI tests.Collaborate closely with development QA and product teams to ensure quality acceptance criteria are met.Perform root cause analysis RCA on defects and implement corrective actions to reduce defect escape.Manage defect lifecycle including logging tracking and verification of fixes.Integrate automated testing with continuous integration and continuous delivery CICD processes.Monitor test execution progress and report on test results and metrics.Advocate for automation best practices methodologies and tools within the team.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
