Quality Control Associate (Plumbing Supply)

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $20–$25/hr (depends on experience in plumbing supply industry)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Overview

This role supports a fast-paced plumbing supply operation serving commercial and industrial contractors across the DFW market.

You will be responsible for ensuring orders are accurate before they leave the warehouse. This is a high-accountability position where attention to detail directly impacts job sites and customer relationships.

This is not just warehouse work. You must understand plumbing materials and how orders come together so nothing is missed. Need to be able to look at pipes/valves/fittings and other parts and understand what size and product it is. Not highly automated at this point.

What You Will Do

• Review and verify outgoing orders for accuracy and completeness
• Cross-check sales orders against picked materials
• Ensure all parts are staged correctly and loaded onto trucks
• Catch missing or incorrect items before delivery
• Work closely with inside sales and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organization of staging areas and outgoing shipments
• Support general warehouse operations as needed

What You Need

• Experience in plumbing supply REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of: pipe, valves, fittings, fixtures, and parts
• High attention to detail and accountability
• Ability to work early hours and stay active throughout shift
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication
