Facilities & Operations Coordinator

Position Title:Facilities & Operations CoordinatorJob Description:Reporting to the Director of Facilities and Operations, the Facilities and Operations Coordinator is responsible for working, as directed, toward the execution of a successful department. This position is responsible for assisting in the planning and coordination of game and event logistics, as well as the management and maintenance of athletics facilities. This position ensures a safe, high-quality environment for student-athletes, staff, and spectators while maintaining compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA regulations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in coordinating and executing all home athletic contests and special eventsServe as one of the liaisons for game-day operations, including coordination of officials, teams, media, security, parking, and emergency services for specific sports.Learn the processes and set-ups for video boards, scoreboards, game clocks, audio systems, and replay systems.Assist in overseeing crowd management, security operations, and emergency preparedness for all eventsAssist with hosting responsibilities for conference and NCAA eventsAssist and support external events such as receptions, banquets, camps and clinicsComplete facility walkthroughs and keep track of maintenance projectsAssist with inventory and organization of team equipment and apparelPerform other duties as assignedJob Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:Bachelor’s Degree required.Have an interest in athletics, facilities, and/or event managementBe reliable, punctual, and have good communication skillsSelf-motivated, yet able to work in a team environmentMust be responsible and accountableBe willing to work in all weather conditionsAble to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of timePlease note, this position includes office hours, athletic events, and non-athletic events.Some night, holiday, and weekend commitments will be requiredHours/BenefitsPart time - $7,000 SalaryStart date - August 1Tuition Remission Benefits.Full Time/Part Time:Part timeAbout UsMount St. Mary's University is a dynamic, Catholic, liberal arts university with over 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students, located in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
