Job Summary: Operating Room (First Assistant) Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) Cary, North Carolina
The RNFA will support surgical services across all surgical service lines by functioning as the first assistant as needed in the operating room. Responsibilities include circulating surgical cases and scrubbing procedures as required. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexible shift options including 8-hour, 10-hour, or potential 12-hour shifts; start time is 6:45 AM with end times varying (3:15 PM, 5:15 PM, or 7:15 PM); variable days off for 10 and 12-hour staff; on-call, weekends, and holidays as needed; minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN licensure; RNFA experience (2.0 years); proficient with DaVinci robot; ability to circulate surgical cases and scrub procedures as needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: DaVinci robot proficiency (preferred).
• Additional Information: Function as an RNFA across all surgical service lines; circulate surgical cases; scrub procedures as needed; start date of 07/06/2026.
