Information Assurance Analyst

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in cybersecurity, information security, national security, or a related field, along with 12+ years of experience in information assurance or security.
• We need proven, hands-on experience performing both ISSM and SSO/PSO duties.
• We expect strong expertise in security governance, including practical use of RMF, eMASS, and the ATO lifecycle for classified IT environments.
• We require deep knowledge of physical, personnel, and industrial security regulations, including ICD-705 standards for SCIF and SAPF design, accreditation, construction, and oversight.
• We need proficiency with DoW-level or equivalent staffing workflows and experience using CATMS to create, route, track, and manage leadership decision packages.
• We seek a demonstrated record of assessing policy authorities, resolving cross-domain security and operational conflicts, and building interagency agreement to modernize classified infrastructure across government and the Defense Industrial Base.
• We require an active and current TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
• Preferred: familiarity with cloud security frameworks, FedRAMP, and commercial classified hosting or CIaaS architectures.
• Preferred: prior support experience with OUSW(I&S), the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, or comparable Joint Staff or Intelligence Community policy organizations.
• Preferred: a masters degree in cybersecurity policy, information technology, national security studies, public administration, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: experience writing or contributing to enterprise security directives, interagency MOAs/MOUs, or white papers addressing cross-domain initiatives.

• We lead efforts to modernize how the Department of War and the Defense Industrial Base access and share classified facilities and IT systems, with emphasis on CIaaS.
• We apply combined ISSM and SSO/PSO expertise to interpret and navigate complex security requirements across physical, personnel, information, and industrial domains.
• We design innovative access approaches and compliance strategies for collateral spaces, SCIFs, and SAPFs, using ICD-705, RMF, eMASS, and ATO processes.
• We facilitate coordination across agencies and mission partners, including briefings, resolution of security disputes, and advising leadership on infrastructure decisions.
• We convert strategic direction into actionable security procedures by drafting guidance, SOPs, and decision memoranda.
• We build, coordinate, and manage formal staffing and decision packages in CATMS to secure official approvals and signatures.
• We assess existing policy authorities, identify bottlenecks, prepare written recommendations, and track progress through monthly reporting.
