Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of recent Cath Lab and EP experience, including Stroke, Neuro Intervention, and Cerebral procedures, for a 13-week contract in South Florida.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital
• Procedures include EP, Stroke and Neuro Intervention, Cerebral Thrombectomies, and Embolizations
• Trauma experience required for this unit
• Epic EMR is used on this unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are considered at a lower pay rate

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab and EP experience required
• ARRT (Radiographer) certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS through AHA required
• Epic EMR experience required
• FL RN license or compact license required if applicable
• Must successfully complete a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses

Additional Information

• EP Technologist experience is required for this position
• Candidates must pass a Basic Arrhythmia (EKG) assessment; if the initial attempt is not fully passed, a re-take dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 24 hours with a minimum overall Angoff score of 83%, 100% in the lethal rhythm section, and 83% in all other sections
• Proof of vaccination status is required — declinations are not accepted
• This is a smoke-free facility
