Spa Assistant Manager

Spa Assistant Manager The Spa Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Spa with retail and the day-to-day operations of the Spa. The role includes management of the Spa Concierge, Spa Attendants and Retail Outlet, overseeing staffing, standards training, guest service delivery, retail promotions and events, problem resolution, payroll, and maintaining supplies and equipment. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily Spa operations and continuously improve the guest experience. Coordinate and conduct staff training to exceed service standards. Collaborate with the Learning Manager and designated trainers to create effective learning environments for Spa staff. Coach, mentor, and lead Spa employees; provide clear instructions and guidance to maintain high morale. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate hotel policies, changes, and sales/service improvement strategies. Work closely with Engineering, Housekeeping, and Laundry to uphold quality, mechanical operations, cleanliness, and special requirements of all Spa equipment and facilities. Report to the Assistant Spa Director and Director of Leisure & Wellness on departmental performance, employee progress, and guest feedback. Perform additional duties as required by management. Qualifications Minimum 1+ year of leadership experience in a luxury Spa. Demonstrated knowledge and passion for spa, wellness, and holistic modalities. Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills to work with cross‑functional teams. Elevated leadership skills, cross‑cultural sensitivity, and a customer service orientation. Guest‑centric mindset and understanding of guest preferences. Proficient with computer equipment and Microsoft applications. Fluency in English; current U.S. work authorization required.
