Instrumentation Coordinator - Central Sterile Services

Shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Friday; occasional scheduled holidays.

Minimum 3 years relevant experience.

Required certification: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA / formerly IAHCSMM).

Trauma experience: Trauma Level II — required; Trauma Level I — preferred.

Community hospital experience — preferred.

Censitrac experience preferred.

Medivator and AER experience preferred/required.

Perform decontamination and sterilization processes, including STERRAD and steam.

Facilitate high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing.

Manage case cart preparation and sterile storage.

Assemble and standardize instrument trays.

Serve as the liaison for the operating room, ensuring effective instrument distribution and communication across sites.

Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).

Candidates must complete strict Ohio fingerprinting deadlines ASAP after signing the contract.

Previous permanent staff and recent return travelers not eligible.

References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager/director or formal leader.
