Finance Manager

A Houston freight forwarder needs a finance manager to run its accounting and reporting. You'd own the month-end close, the branch P&L and the day-to-day finance team. Day to day Own the month-end close, management accounts and branch P&L reporting. Run accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control, and keep DSO in check. Reconcile shipment-level margin, work in progress and accruals on open files. Manage carrier and agent payments, duty and disbursement accounts. Lead a small finance team and support the GM on the numbers. You'll fit if You have at least 5 years in finance, including time in freight forwarding or logistics. You know shipment-level accounting, gross profit reconciliation and month-end close. You are strong on AP, AR, credit control and management reporting.
