Distribution Center Will Call Order Associate

Job Description Pulls will call orders for jobbers. Pulls all special orders accurately and as completely as possible, placing the items into the appropriate tubs. Responsibilities Practice asset security/loss prevention controls. Ensure proper processes and procedures are utilized to minimize inventory shrinkage. Check all orders for accuracy. Report all overage/shortage/damaged merchandise. Share responsibility for maintenance and cleanliness of area. Complete all job prerequisite training. Demonstrate ability to perform the required duties of the job. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required. Minimum 6 months prior work experience. Working knowledge of the entire stockroom. Ability to work in a fast‑paced setting and remain calm under pressure. Ability to communicate with customers, supervisors, and other Will Call employees. Personal drive, self‑motivation and initiative to accomplish company goals. Willingness and ability to learn. Analytical problem‑solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, sometimes including weekends and holidays as required by customer business needs. Pass a drug screen test and routine background inquiry. Strong customer relationship skills. Ability to utilize and operate a RADS gun. Visually capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers, and to speak clearly and listen attentively. Ability to work on feet (stand and walk) for the entire assigned work shift. Capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes up to 60 pounds. Ability to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor‑level shelves and reach upper shelves with the use of stool or ladder when necessary. Ability to move engine blocks, core barrels, and other heavy equipment with moving aids such as hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc. Physical Demands / Working Environment Position operates in a warehouse setting with continuous exposure to industrial noise (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, machinery, and loading activities), bright overhead lighting, and varying temperatures due to limited climate control. Employees regularly work around moving equipment and mechanical operations and must remain alert to audible and visual safety signals in a fast‑paced environment.
